RIVER NORTH — Former Chicago Bears defensive back and return specialist Jerry Azumah seeks a gain on his River North townhome, which he listed Monday for nearly $1.7 million.

The three-bedroom, 4,060-square-foot home on Superior Street includes a gym, wet bar and patio with views of the Chicago skyline, according to the listing

Cook County property records show Azumah, who played for the Bears from 1999 to 2005, paid about $1.3 million in 2004 for the home. Azumah has since made frequent contributions to local charities and sports media, and is a licensed realtor with Chicago-based Premier Relocation

Premier President Susan Miner is handling the sale and did not return a message seeking comment. Check out our slideshow for a full tour of the home.
