WRIGLEYVILLE — While construction on the Wrigley Field bleachers has hit a few snags, the Chicago Cubs are moving forward with a line-up of special events for Budweiser Bleacher Fridays this season.

Starting with a beach bash and finishing up with a singles night, each themed Friday will include entertainment, giveaway items and special food for those sitting in the bleachers.

Most notably, pop band Fitz and the Tantrums will headline an extra innings show following the July 10 game against the White Sox. The show will be open to all game attendees, and fans in the bleachers will receive an Extra Innings Concert koozie.

Band members will also throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch and lead the seventh-inning stretch.

Cubs officials said last month that the new bleachers should be completed in June, meaning the May 29 Beach Bash could see fewer seats than the planned 5,000. Bleacher guests (tickets are $51) will receive a pair of sunglasses and an invitation to a beach-themed post-game party in Wrigleyville following the Kansas City Royals game.

The Cubs did not immediately return a request for comment about how the delayed bleacher construction would impact the Budweiser Bleacher Fridays.

Bleacher tickets on the six dates cost $36-$68, with the July 10 White Sox game being the most expensive.

The June 12 game against the Cincinnati Reds will have a Country Day theme, with bleacher guests receiving a "country" cap (a Cubs baseball hat with a wicker pattern on the front). Country music songs will play between innings and "homestyle" cooking will be available. Bleacher tickets are $44.

On July 3, the Miami Marlins game will feature a Red, White and Brew theme, and guests will get patriotic Cubs tank tops and classic American food. Bleacher tickets are $65.

During '90s Day at the Aug. 21 Atlanta Braves game, fans will receive a re-issued neon pink Cubs hat and jam out to '90s tunes between innings. Bleacher tickets are $36.

Wrapping up the Budweiser Bleacher Fridays will be a Singles and Doubles Day during the Sept. 18 game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cubs hope to spark some romance and make some singles into doubles with some bleacher mingling.

Fans in the bleachers will also receive three-quarter-sleeve shirts and have a chance to participate in social media interactions and creative food pairings. Bleacher tickets are $37.
