Robert Plant, Pixies to Play Northerly Island

NORTHERLY ISLAND — Robert Plant will bring a "whole lotta love" to the South Loop this summer.

The former Led Zeppelin frontman will play a show along with The Pixies June 10 at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, 1300 S. Linn White Drive. Tickets will go on sale Friday on Plant's website. 

Plant, who released an album last year, will be joined by backing band Sensational Space Shifters. The show kicks off at 7:45 p.m. June 10.
