LINCOLN PARK — Chef-designed recipes and all the ingredients to make them are now available on demand.

A new partnership between Foxtrot, the curated goods delivery service, and Plated will allow customers to cut out a trip to the store for a full home-cooked meal.

Plated is known for delivering preportioned ingredients including everything needed to create a specific step-by-step recipe.

The company is marketing its product toward people who are looking for a "chef-designed" meal at home on a weeknight but might be too busy to put it together otherwise.

Foxtrot, which sells beer, wine, food and everyday essentials, opened a brick-and-mortar headquarters in Lincoln Park in December.

Foxtrot will carry select Plated meals in it storefront as well as through the delivery app.

The partnership will allow users to order a meal as well as some accompanying booze all through the Foxtrot app and have it delivered within an hour for a flat $5 rate.

Plated's offerings include meals such as shepherd's pie with ground beef and vegetables, braised chicken with gnocchi and artichokes and Sicilian-style cod with parsley garlic potatoes. Each of those meals is $12 per plate.

The meals will be served through Foxtrot in servings of two.

Foxtrot's physical location is at 2229 N. Clybourn Ave.
