CHICAGO — Chicago is far from camera shy. After being the backdrop for "Empire" and "Batman v. Superman" late last year, two more projects started filming in the city Monday, an official from the Chicago Film Office said.

"Two pilot television shows, 'Runner' and 'Love Is a Four Letter Word,' started filming Monday," said Chicago Film Office director Rich Moskal.

During the day, film crews descended the Loop, converting LaSalle and Adams into New York City.

NYPD police cars and New York taxi cabs were seen driving around, while extras staged a protest near the intersection of LaSalle and Adams.

The two shows are set to film for the next two weeks around Chicago, Moskal said.
