LINCOLN PARK — A gorgeous triplex, part of a six-unit building made from the old Northwest Terra Cotta plant, is on the market for $699,000.

The building at 1701 West Terra Cotta was converted in 1989 from the plant, which made architectural ornaments. The six triplex units are housed in the only original part of the building — however, these units are thoroughly updated.

Listing agent Debbie Maue of Jameson Sotheby's International Realty says that the unit has been updated with new paint, new fixtures, new appliances and a brand new kitchen with cherry wood finishes.

The unit has two bedrooms, three full baths and 16-foot ceilings. The buyer would also have a private 400-square-foot roof deck with skyline views.

A curved staircase enables travel from floor to floor, and hardwood floors are throughout the unit. There is also gated entry and garage parking available.
