
CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot Monday, police said.
Around 9:50 a.m., the man was standing in the street, in the 7200 block of South Green Street, when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman.
The man, who is a documented gang member, was shot twice in the arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, police said.
No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
