CHICAGO — St. Gabriel Catholic Church and School will hold their annual blood drive Saturday in Canaryville.
Sponsored by the school's youth group, the blood drive will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic School, 4500 S. Wallace St.
The blood drive benefits Heartland Blood Center, which serves hospitals throughout the city.
Last year, St. Gabriel's blood drive had more than 70 donors — the biggest turnout since the school started the drive.
Anyone interested in scheduling an appointment to donate blood can call the school at 773-268-9595. Walk-ins are also welcome.
