CHICAGO — Police are warning residents in West Elsdon and West Lawn after a man tried to lure two young girls into his car Saturday.
Around 4 p.m., the man approached the girls in his car as they walked in the 5800 block of South Kostner Avenue and asked if they wanted a ride, police said.
When the two refused and ran away he drove around the block and again asked if they wanted a ride, police said. The girls then ran into a nearby business and contacted police, police said.
The man was described as a Hispanic man ages 35-45 with black hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a royal blue shirt and driving a black SUV that is possibly a Jeep, police said.
