Women Veterans Offered Resources at Austin Workshops

CHICAGO — Female veterans will have the chance to learn what local resources are available to them at three events in March.

The series is called “Woman Warrior Wednesdays: Accessing Resources for Female Veterans."

Hosted by the Women's Business Development Center, the event will explain local resources for veterans, such as educational opportunities, medical support and entrepreneurial tools.

The first event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. March 11 at Goodcity, 5049 W. Harrison St.

The second will go from 6 to 8 p.m. March 18 at the University of Chicago Jackson Park Boardroom, 1452 E. 53rd St., 2nd floor. The third event is March 25 at the National Veterans Art Museum, 4041 N. Milwaukee in Wicker Park.

Each event is free but requires registration, which attendees can do here or by calling 312-853-3477.
