ENGLEWOOD— Community members will have the opportunity to share their ideas with the Hamilton Park Cultural Center on March 11.

The Culture, Arts and Nature Department is hosting a “listening party” on Wednesday, March 11 at Hamilton Park, 513 W. 72nd Street from 6- 8 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to allow Englewood residents the chance to share their opinions about what kinds of cultural events they want to take place at the center.

Michael Rohd and Jasmin Cardenas from the Civic Practice Lab at the Lookingglass Theatre will moderate the discussion, along with representatives from the Chicago Park District’s Department of Culture Arts and Nature.

Attendees will learn about an upcoming art project that will focus on Hamilton Park’s past, present and future. There will be refreshments and entertainment. Neighbors interested in participating in the event must RSVP to Danielle Littman at danielle.littman@chicagoparkdistrict.com.
