ROGERS PARK — Jesus "Chuy" Garcia is still loved by voters in Rogers Park more than any other North Side community, but he no longer holds the lead here after last week's election.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel now has a 13-vote lead after mail-in ballots were counted and results were updated late last week.

Garcia received 3,854 votes to Emanuel's 3,867.

Rahm also holds the majority of votes (more than 50 percent) in surrounding wards, such as the 50th, 48th and 46th, which make up most of the Far North Side communities of West Ridge, Edgewater and Uptown.

Emanuel and Garcia will meet in a runoff election on April 7.
