CHICAGO — Police are cautioning residents after two burglaries in Lincoln Park.

In both incidents, a person entered apartments through an unlocked door or window, police said in a statement.

The most recent burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West Diversey Avenue. The other incident occurred at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 16 n the 1000 block of West Montana Street, police said.

The suspect in the Feb. 16 incident is described as black man between ages 18-20, 5-feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a black jacket and light blue faded jeans.
