JEFFERSON PARK — A naturalist with the Cook County Forest Preserve District will offer gardening tips at the meeting Wednesday of the Jefferson Park Neighborhood Association, organizers said.

Irene Flebbe will discuss how backyard gardeners can prepare for spring, organizers said.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Congregational Church of Jefferson Park, 5320 W. Giddings St.

Before the association meeting starts, a session will take place for people interested in volunteering for the Jefferson Park Sunday Market, which is scheduled to start June 14 and run through Oct. 25.
