CHICAGO — A man robbed a Near North bank Saturday morning, officials said.
At 10:45 a.m., a man walked into a bank in the 0-100 block of West Huron Street and handed a teller a note demanding money, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago police spokeswoman. The FBI said it was the MB Financial bank at 33 W. Huron St.
The robber implied he had a weapon, before making off with an undisclosed amount of money, Lemmon said.
No was injured during the robbery, Lemmon added.
The offender is described as a black man in his mid 20s, 6 feet tall, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.
No one is in custody, and the FBI are investigating. Anyone with information can call the FBI at 312-421-6700.
