LOGAN SQUARE — The Chicago burlesque troupe Better Boobie Bureau will host their next show, “Snowed In with the Better Boobie Bureau: the Burlesque Cure to Cabin Fever,” on Thursday in Logan Square.

The show kicks off at The Charnel House, 3421 W. Fullerton Ave., at 8 p.m. Feb. 19 and will feature a “burlesque buffet” — described by troupe producer Phaedra Black as “a bit of everything for the fan of the adult art form.”

“Our acts are performed by women and men of all body types. We believe that not all people have the same tastes, so we aim to attract the most creative minds in the burlesque business to bring a variety of acts to the stage,” she added. “No two Better Boobie Bureau shows are the same.”

The Better Boobie Bureau troupe members have made appearances all over the city with other shows including Unbridled at Untitled, Belmont Burlesque and Gorilla Tango Burlesque. Some have even appeared nationally at the Vermont Burlesque Festival, Diversi-Tease in Minneapolis and the Great Burlesque Exposition in Boston.

Their backgrounds range from classically trained dancers to comedians and actors.

The Better Boobie Bureau Troupe consists of Phaedra Black, Lady Ali Mode, Prima Vera, Henrietta Heartbreak, SioBast, Whiskey Sixx, Jean Wildest, Marci Vousplait, Mo Less and host Busty Warren.

Thursday night’s show will also feature guest performer Jimmy Swagger. Tickets will be available at the door for $12.
