UKRAINIAN VILLAGE —  Yuzu Sushi and Robata Grill moved into a larger location over the weekend and will be bringing a different concept to its original spot this summer.

"It won't be sushi; it will be something new but still casual. We are thinking about it, wondering what can we offer Chicago?" said Bua Bun, a spokeswoman for the family-run eatery, which employs 30 people, including five chefs.

Bua said the new spot coming to 1715 W. Chicago Ave. could be open by this summer, if everything goes as planned.

Meanwhile, over the Valentine's holiday weekend, crowds packed Yuzu Sushi and Robata Grill's new location at 1751 W. Chicago, which opened Thursday in the former La Fama Bakery.

"It was crazy," Bun said, adding that the restaurant served nearly 700 tables between Friday and Sunday in its new location, twice the size of the original spot.

The restaurant opened in 2011 and serves skewers, sushi and sashimi.
