CHICAGO — Those looking to enjoy a sweet treat and help a fundraiser can do so by buying paczkis on Fat Tuesday.

Sales of the pastry at Oak Mill Bakery, 2204 N. North Ave., between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. will benefit the Polish American Association, according to a release.

Paczkis, which were originally created to help Christians get rid of perishable butter, eggs and cream prior to Lent, will cost $3 each at Oak Mill Bakery.

The Polish American Association provides bilingual and bicultural services to the Polish community and others in need.
