Edgewater Library Hosts '12 Years a Slave' Book Discussion

EDGEWATER — The Edgewater Library plans to host a discussion of Solomon Northup's memior "12 Years a Slave" 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at 6000 North Broadway.

The book, which was the basis of a 2013 acclaimed film of the same name, tells the story of a free black man from upstate New York who is abducted and sold into slavery.
