CHICAGO— A man was wounded in a shooting in Logan Square early Saturday, police said.

At 12:30 a.m., a 29-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of West Cortland Avenue when a dark-colored SUV drove up and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in the right side of his torso and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where his condition had stabilized, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
