JEFFERSON PARK — It may seem like summer is a long way off, but planning for Jeff Fest is well underway, organizers said.
Jeff Fest will take place July 24-26, and organizers are looking for suggestions for which bands, food, kids activities and craft vendors should be featured at the annual festival that takes over Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave.
The festival, which benefits the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce and funds scholarships, typically offers something for everyone, including music, aerial dance, drum circles, food trucks, craft beer, a photo show, a family picnic area and urban crafters.
Last year, approximately 4,000 people attended the festival.
