CHICAGO — A half-floor penthouse complete with 11-foot ceilings on the Near North Side will soon be on the market for $4.5 million.
The unit at 55 E. Erie St. No. 5201 will hit the market at the end of February, according to @properties' Margaret Baczkowski. It offers 4,165 square feet of living space.
The single-family home offers three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms as well as "sweeping" south, east and west views of the city, said Baczkowski.
Among the home's features are Terrazzo and quarter-sawn oak floors, 11-foot ceilings and a barrel-vaulted gallery ceiling in the entryway.
It has three terraces and a custom Bulthaup kitchen outfitted with stainless steel appliances and French limestone counters. The kitchen opens up to a family room, Baczkowski said.
The oversized master suite comes with a spacious, walk-in closet. The luxurious, honed limestone master bathroom has a large steam shower and separate tub.
There are two additional bedrooms, which also have en-suite bathrooms.
There are two parking spaces included.
