CHICAGO — Eli's Cheesecake in Dunning is hosting Valentine's-themed events Saturday through Feb. 14.
You can create your own dessert arrangement ($6) with mini, chocolate-dipped cheesecakes. The DIY activity is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eli's Cheesecake Bakery Cafe and Retail Store, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive.
On Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, Eli's offers a lunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that includes a heart-shaped grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup and strawberry-topped cheesecake ($10/person).
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the store also offers a free set of four DIY mini dippers, samples and a kids coloring contest.
Reservations for the Valentine's Day lunch are suggested and can be made by calling 773-205-3800.
