Politicians to Host Job Training Workshop at Loyola University

ROGERS PARK — Local politicians and the Howard Area Community Center plan to host a free resume-building workshop Tuesday at Loyola University's Damen Student Center, 6511 N. Sheridan Road.

From 8 a.m. to noon, experts will be on hand to teach job seekers how to craft a resume and cover letter, search for jobs, prepare for interviews and use social media to help in the job search.

Representatives from the Howard Area Community Center will be in attendance.

Elected officials co-sponsoring the event with state Sen. Heather Steans include state Rep. Kelly Cassidy and Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) and Ald. Joe Moore (49th).
