JEFFERSON PARK — Four Far Northwest Side Catholic churches will join forces to mark the season of Lent with a three-part mission.

Monsignor Richard Hynes, who is the director of the Archdiocese of Chicago's department of parish life and development, will lead the sessions, titled A People Who Walk in Brightness: The Saints of Daily Life.

St. Bartholomew, St. Pascal, St. Robert Bellarmine and Our Lady of Victory are hosting the mission as part of the celebration of Lent, which marks the six weeks before Easter.

Hynes will discuss how "the holiness of each day appears" by using humor to explore moments of grace in the struggle of daily living, organizers said.

The mission will take place at 7 p.m. March 9, March 10 and March 11 at Our Lady of Victory, 5212 W. Agatite Ave.

Refreshments will be served after each session.
