LOOP — Governor Bruce Rauner is unhurt after his motorcade was involved in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday morning near Millennium Park.

Illinois State Police said Wednesday that Rauner's motorcade stopped at a red light at Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street when a car from a separate two-vehicle crash spun out, slid across the intersection, and struck Rauner's vehicle.

A spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department confirmed the collision occurred at 8:15 a.m.

Three people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, state police said. A Rauner spokeswoman would not comment.
