CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after a shooting in a convenience store in Park Manor Saturday night.
Around 10:25 p.m., the teen was with friends in a store in the 600 block of East 75th Street, when an armed man walked into the store and opened fire, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The boy was struck in the left side of his neck and his right knee. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Estrada said.
No one else was injured in the shooting, which appears to be gang related, Estrada said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
