
CHICAGO — Police say an armed robber made off with cash from a Lincoln Park FedEx store Friday afternoon.
The robbery occurred in the 700 block of West Fullerton Parkway about 2:40 p.m. Friday.
A man, who appeared to be between the ages of 45 and 50, entered the store. After about 15 minutes, he approached the cashier and pulled out a handgun, announcing a robbery.
He ordered the cashier to open the register, then grabbed some money and fled on foot. Police did not know how much money was taken. No one is in custody, no injuries were reported and Area North detectives are investigating, police said.
