COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — When a West Pullman family came home from church late last month, they found a busted window and missing TVs, prosecutors said.

Security footage shows 25-year-old Raymond Clark, the father of the homeowner's grandchild, entering and exiting the house and heading to his car, Assistant State's Attorney Lorraine Scaduto said in court Thursday.

When police arrested Clark this week, he insisted he was innocent and said the family was only pointing fingers at him because he'd cheated on his girlfriend, Scaduto said.

But when asked for an alibi, Clark told police he couldn't remember where he was during the burglary, Scaduto said.

Prosecutors claim Clark broke into the house in the 400 block of West 123rd Street while the family was at church on December 28. Two TVs, a laptop, a camcorder and a computer monitor were stolen.

Clark, who lives in the 11300 block of South Carpenter Street in Morgan Park, was charged with felony residential burglary.

Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois on Thursday ordered Clark held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
