Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town This Weekend

Autism Speaks to Young Professionals

Friday

Crussia at the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted Ave., 9 p.m.

The emerging jazz/funk trio Crussia will perform with H.A.R.D. and Motific Friday night. Tickets to the 21-and-older show are $8. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Royale at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

Celebrate the Royale's album release party at Lincoln Hall Friday night. The first 25 ticket buyers receive a signed EP and the next 25 receive a signed poster. Queen Buzz and High Diver will also perform. Tickets to the 21-and-over show are $12.

Saturday

Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

Head to one of the premier blues bars on the North Side for a performance by Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials. They released six Alligator albums between 1989 and 2008, with each further bolstering the group's national recognition. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Honey and the 45s at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Honey and the 45s, Jordan Engelhardt, Redfield and Leonum will all perform Saturday night at Lincoln Hall. Tickets to the 21-and-older show are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Sunday

Chitown Beernival at Joe's on Weed St., 940 W. Weed St., 1-4 p.m.

Pistol Pete at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

Catch the award-winning blues singer as he takes the stage at B.L.U.E.S. Sunday night for $5. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Chicago New Music Jam at the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted Ave., 8 p.m.

Head to Tonic Room for the Chicago New Music Jam hosted by Fareed Haque and Mathgames every Sunday. Barriers will be broken down as the Tonic Room stage is opened up for musicians of all styles. The 21-and-over show is free to attend.
