LOGAN SQUARE — Pipeworks Brewing Company will be celebrating the release of their White Russian Imperial Stout called, “Hey Careful Man, There’s a Beverage Here” with a special pre-release party at The Logan Theater that includes the screening of "The Big Lebowski."
The Pipeworks crew will be at Logan Theatre, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave., on Friday for the tapping of the beer at 7 p.m. and the 10:30 p.m. screening.
Lebowski-themed costumes are encouraged for all who would like to imbibe the white milk stout brewed with cocao nibs, Dark Matter coffee, and vanilla while watching The Dude abide. Prizes for the best costume will be awarded.
Hey, Careful Man, There's A Beverage Here will be $8 for 10-ounce pours. Tickets are $7.50, and available online through The Logan Theatre’s website, as well as at the door.
A small number of bottles of Pipeworks Barrel Aged White Russian Stout, “Over the Line,” will also be available for purchase at the bar.
The theater will screen "The Big Lebowski" on Saturday and Sunday, as well.
