WICKER PARK —  Fans of Call of Duty, a popular online role-playing video game, can take their virtual shooting skills into a Wicker Park bar on Tuesday at a tournament offering cash prizes and no teams —  just every soldier for him (or her) self.

Scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Tournament at Emporium Arcade Bar, 1366 N. Milwaukee Ave., will give gamers a chance to play against each other on the new Xbox One system, or possibly the older Xbox 360 as backup if a cable hookup does not work correctly, said organizer Roper Fuentes.

Cash prizes from the $5 entry fee will be split among the top two players, and there could be swag given away too, such as T-shirts, Fuentes said.

The number of game levels or rounds played will be determined on how many people show up. There will be four game consoles, in a "death match," Fuentes said.

One player will compete alone on a large projector scree, while the other three contestants will be lined up at the bar, each with his or her own monitor and system.
