CHICAGO — Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who fatally struck a 30-year-old bicyclist in Humboldt Park early New Year's Day.

Aimer Robledo, a DJ and father of two, was riding his bike around 2:40 a.m. in the 4700 block of West Division Street when he was struck by a dark colored minivan traveling westbound on Division Street, police said.

Robledo was listed in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died a short time later, police said.

Police are searching for the driver of the van, which continued West on Division Street towards Cicero Avenue following the incident, police said.

Officers said the van may be red with extensive damage to the front and undercarriage.

Anyone with information should call Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
