BEVERLY — Looking for a reason to get all dolled up after the holidays?

The Snowflake Ball offers such an opportunity at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 at the Beverly Country Club. The formal ball returns for its third year at the club at 8700 S. Western Avenue in Beverly.

Tickets cost $75. The 21-and-older event includes open bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and sweets along with views of the moonlit golf course. Partygoers will also have a chance to take home a souvenir from the Snowflake Ball photo booth.

The Beverly Area Planning Association (BAPA) will again coordinate the evening of dancing, socializing and celebrating. Members of the group resurrected the Snowflake Ball in 2012 after a seven-year hiatus.

The BAPA fundraiser's return was largely fueled by second-generation Beverly residents, many of whom remembered their parents attending the Snowflake Ball.

This year, the musical acts will include dance tunes by Rendition and the smooth sounds of the Gloria Shannon Blues Band.

To purchase tickets or request information, contact BAPA online through its website or by calling 773-233-3100.
