CHICAGO — Chicago's top cop got hitched on New Year's Eve, marrying personal injury lawyer Kristin Barnette.
Garry McCarthy and Barnette got married in a civil ceremony before celebrating with friends at a black tie gala — complete with a midnight balloon drop.
"We are so blessed to be surrounded by our very closest family and friends and thank everyone for being a part of our very special day," Barnette said.
