BRIDGEPORT — Chef Dave Samber is calling it "The Brunch Three Days Before the Night Before Christmas."

Scheduled for 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, the brunch buffet at Polo Cafe, 3322 S. Morgan St., will be a gargantuan feast set against the musical accompaniment of an organist playing holiday tunes.

The brunch costs $30 for adults, $24 for seniors 65 and older, $18.50 for teens and $12.50 for kids ages 4-12. Coffee and other drinks, including choices from the full bar, cost extra.

The rather ridiculous spread will include extra large fried shrimp, a grilled winter vegetable fritatta, fire-roasted tomato macaroni and cheese, carved turkey with warm bearnaise sauce, baked ham glazed with brown sugar and dijon mustard, fried potatoes, custard-filled cornbread, creme brulee French toast medallions, peppermint candy cane pancakes and much, much more.
