ROGERS PARK — Chabad of East Rogers Park plans to celebrate Hanukkah under black lights.

The synagogue invites all to attend "Glow in the Dark Chanukah" 7 p.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave.

Attendees are encouraged to "come in white to glow" under black lights, according to the event's flier.

"Glowing in the dark is definitely in tune with the holiday season," said Rabbi Yoel Wolf, who runs Chabad in the neighborhood. He said all the credit for the idea of the themed party goes to his wife, Rivky.

There will be a salad and dessert bar, fresh sufganiyah and latkes, and a menorah-lighting ceremony.

Admission is free, but there is a suggested donation of $7.
