CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot Tuesday night in South Shore.

The man was walking in the 7100 block of South Jeffrey Boulevard about 8:05 p.m. when an armed man walked up behind him and opened fire, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after being grazed in his head, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
