Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Wednesday

 Dobie Maxwell, also known as Mr. Lucky, has been touring stand-up clubs all around America since 1985. Maxwell has performed with Drew Carey, Jeff Foxworthy, Rosie O'Donnell and Jerry Seinfeld and he currently teaches classes at Zanies. Tickets to the show are $25 with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.

Composting 101 at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 6-7 p.m.

Learn the basics of worm composting with this hands-on class and leave with a starter bin and plenty of tips to keep it up. The class is $15 for museum members or $20 for non-members.

Maks The Fox at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Maks The Fox is made up of Marlon Aguilar, Kori Simonson, Jacob Fawcett, Sarah Cornish and Rachel Schuldt. They'll make their Lincoln Hall debut Wednesday, hitting the stage after Ed Quartet and Bryn Rich. Tickets to the 21-and-older show are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
