 St. Rita High School will host its annual Night of Champions at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The free event will be held on the school's campus at 7740 S. Western Avenue in Ashburn. Students in sixth through eighth grades are invited to participate.

ASHBURN — St. Rita High School challenges students in sixth through eighth grades to go for the gold.

The Catholic high school will host its annual Night of Champions at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The free event will be held on the school's campus at 7740 S. Western Ave. in Ashburn.

The Olympics-style athletic competition will include the following events a basketball hot shot, 40-yard dash, football accuracy toss, golf putt and chip, baseball speed gun, soccer kick, hockey shot and long jump.

Awards will be give to the top participant at each grade level. Fat Johnnie's Famous Red Hots will be served during the awards ceremony.
