LOGAN SQUARE — Chicago’s annual Holiday Train will make stops in Logan Square next week.

The beloved Chicago Transit Authority tradition is back on public transportation lines citywide, beginning with service on the Green Line before moving on to the other "L" lines.

Logan Square and Avondale residents can expect the train at the Western, California and Logan Square Blue Line stations Dec. 11, 12 and 13.

The six-car train car — which smells like cinnamon — is decked out with holiday decorations including multi-colored lights, garland and bows, to name a few. The train will travel along all eight CTA lines at varying times and continuing through late December as part of regular rail service.

Riders can use the CTA Train Tracker app to find out where the Holiday Train will be at any given time, according to a CTA press release.
