UPTOWN — A Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) meeting for Uptown is scheduled for Wednesday.

The meeting for beats 1923, 1924 and 1925 — which includes parts of Lakeview — starts at 7 p.m. at the 19th District Police Station at 850 W. Addison St.

CAPS meetings run citywide and is your chance to meet your neighbors, talk with police face-to-face in your area and come up with strategies that affect the neighborhood.
