CHINATOWN — The Chinatown Chamber of Commerce is hosting two seminars geared toward business owners in the neighborhood.

The first takes place 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the chamber's offices, 2169B S. China Place, located in the Chinatown Square development.

Officers at that session will offer up tips for business owners and crime statistics in the Deering District.

The second workshop takes place 10-11 a.m. Dec. 10, again at the chamber's offices.

William Townsell, a director with the city's CAPS program, will discuss best practices to reduce crime, personal safety, advice on fixing common code violations and more.

Seating is limited and organizers are asking for RSVPs by emailing info@chicagochinatown.org or calling 312-326-5320.
