NORWOOD PARK — Taft High School's teachers of the month for December not only get bragging rights — but they also get the best parking spots on campus.
Principal Mark Grishaber picked social studies teachers Jerry Katzmarek and Les Plewa as teachers of the month.
Both teachers "model superior student centered values and teach us every day how lucky we are to be Taft Eagles," according to a statement from school officials.
Grishaber gave up the principal's parking spot in order to honor a teacher every month when he took the top job at the school in July.
