JEFFERSON PARK — A pop-up art gallery at Fischman's Liquors Friday will raise money for Beaubien Elementary School's art department.

Hosted by the Jefferson Park school's Parent Teacher Organization, Art for Art will feature work from professional artists including Leslie Baum, Jay Ryan and Josh Goldstein for sale at a discount to benefit Beaubien, 5025 N. Laramie Ave., organizers said.

The show will also feature work by Beaubien students, organizers said.

DJ Damon Locks and DJ Jamie Hayes will spin during the event and a percentage of drinks purchased at Fischman’s Liquors next door will be donated to the school. A food truck will be on hand for snacks, organizers said.

Fischman's, 4774 N. Milwaukee Ave., often hosts community events and fundraisers in the 1,500-square-foot room that adjoins the bar and liquor store.

The Beaubien event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday.
