Saint Xavier University Hosts Third Annual Toys For Tots Drive

MOUNT GREENWOOD — Saint Xavier University will collect toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program from now until Wednesday, Dec. 10.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at multiple locations on the Mount Greenwood campus at 3700 W. 103rd St.

The Office of Admission, Student Veteran Resource Center, Campus Life Office, Office of Records and Advising, Office of Financial Aid, Shannon Center and Gilhooley’s Grande Saloon will all accept gifts.

This is the third year Saint Xavier has participated in the program, which distributes toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children within the community.

Since 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps has annually collected toys at Christmas. They have distributed more than 419 million toys to more than 195 million underprivileged children since the program's inception.
