MORGAN PARK— A man robbed a bank in Morgan Park Thursday afternoon, police said.
At 3:30 p.m., the man entered the bank in the 11800 block of South Marshfield Avenue and approached the bank teller, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman. A Fifth-Third bank is located on the block.
The man implied he had a weapon while handing the teller a note, but no weapon was observed, Sweeney said.
The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Sweeney said.
No one is in custody.
