GOLD COAST — Want a traditional Thanksgiving dinner without all the cooking?

Chicago Q's award-winning chef Lee Ann Whippen is designing a Thanksgiving feast available to go for up to 14 guests, including free range smoked turkey with gravy and a cranberry orange compote, haricot vert with pork belly and caramelized onions, whipped red and gold potatoes, and pork sausage and Granny Smith apple stuffing.

Dessert options include pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie, carrot cake and chocolate mousse.

To-go meals are available in individual servings with two sides and a dessert for $39, for small families at $255, and in a large-group package for $395. The larger servings include all sides and one dessert per person.

Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance and picked up between 9 and 11 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

For the laziest celebrants, guests can skip the dishes and let the restaurant play host — Chicago Q will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the holiday with a limited a la carte menu available.

To place an order, contact the restaurant at 1160 N. Dearborn St. by calling 312-642-1160.
