WEST ROGERS PARK — After nearly 10 years on the job, the director of the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce has accepted a new job as the director of a chamber on the Northwest Side.
Amie Zander, 37, said she accepted a position as director of the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce.
Zander said she was "super excited" for her new job in the neighborhood she grew up in and lives with her husband and two daughters.
"But I'm also sad to be leaving West Ridge," she said.
Zander said she would help the West Ridge chamber find a new director before moving to full-time duties in Jefferson Park.
Former Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce director Anne Kamykowski resigned earlier this year, Zander said.
