CHICAGO — A 22-year-old woman was charged with murder in the death of a 3-year-old boy in Rogers Park.
Officers arrived at a home in the 6500 block of North Seeley Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday night and discovered the child unresponsive, police said.
The boy was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:55 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Further investigation revealed Tylesha Griffin was responsible for the boy's death, police said. She is expected in bond court Monday, police said.
